Hi everyone,
I'm still looking for anyone with links to my Cains ancestors from Staple Hill, Bristol.
My grt grandma Ellen Elizabeth Cains, was born in 1, Edward St., Staple Hill, Bristol, in 1869.
Her father was George Cain(e)s, a baker of Staple Hill, born 1838.
His younger brother Robert also had a family in Staple Hill, St. Georges, Bristol. In 1881 his family were at 23, Ranelagh St, St. Philips and St. Jacobs, and in 1901 at 27, Digby St.
Common family names being, Robert, Charles, George, Elizabeth, William, Louisa, and Mary
I have both families on the 1881 Census but would love to track down their descendants!
Cheers,
Gwyn Dalley
