This is a reply to Timothy Tudway Cains.
My maiden name was Cains and my family come from Bristol and also use Tudway as a forename. My father Jack Tudway Cains was born 3/3/27. He had a brother and two sisters but they unfortunately died in childhood. I have a brother John and sister Susan. My father died 2/3/72 and the only other living relative I was aware of was my great aunt May or Mabel Tudway Cains (unmarried). However, as our name is so rare I feel certain there must be a family connection.
