My name is Dana Caines, and I live in the Northern Virginia area (U.S.). I'm looking info about my Canadian relatives as well as possible half-siblings in the U.S.
My maternal grandmother--Florence Caines--was born in Newfoundland in 1899. She was the youngest of I believe 7 children. She was the only girl. I know that her Father's name was John, and that two of her brothers were named Michael and Edward. She moved to the U.S. (Boston) in the 30s maybe. I know that they lived in a fishing village.
My father's name was Julian Caines, born in Massachusetts (not sure where exactly). My parents divorced when I was young and my father did not keep in touch. I discovered that he lived in Flordia at one point and died there in 1996 1996. I'm wondering if he remarried and I have half-siblings.
