Hi everyone,
does anyone have any info or links to my Cains ancestors?
George Cains born 1809 of Staple Hill, Bristol. He married Ann Selmon (Salmon)in 1834.
They had at least 6 children; William,(born 1834), Charles,(born 1836), George,(born 1838), Robert,(born 1842), Elizabeth (born 1844), and Mary Ann born 1856.
George (Junior) was a baker and married Sarah Ann ? in the parish of St. Philips and St. Jacobs, Bristol. They had at least 7 children between 1862 and 1880, who were, William, George, Louisa Maria, Ellen Elizabeth, Joseph Stephen, Charles and Robert.
Ellen Elizabeth Caines, born 1869, was my grt grandmother, she married William Henry Bewley in 1891. They lived at 1 Edwards St, Barton Hill, Bristol, then Woodbines Villas, before moving to Glamorgan.
If anyone has any links to these Caines / Cains families I would love to hear from you!!
