I corresponded with Mildred Winston (Seab) Ezell (Born 1916) for many years-over 15 years ago- and she was on line as late as 98. So I have a lot on her Cain. (back then for you newcomers, we all shared pedigrees' SNAIL MAIL. A lot of her lines-since we all got home computers-and you can SEE what you have stretched out- became mine in later years. (Harris out of Greene Co was our original intent) Now this much later-I suspect I connect with her on the Cain line. I have Tobias Rogers-in Chatham on many deeds with the Cain family- and singned for his wife Mason to Relinquish Dower, etc. Does Anyone know if Mason may have been connected? He married a 1774 to Mason. (He was in the Rev War, then buying property and witnessing by Feb 1774) "Bias" Second marriage was 1799 to Sarah Hernton. The first known son-is Tobias- and then mine Matilda "Pinky" 1780 in the 1850 census-Henderson Co Tn. Tobias listed her and her husband Amos Aven in his will. But since folks did not normally name the 1st son after themselves, I assume there were earlier ones. Ms. Gerry Hill-Albany Ga. 1774-Aug. 3- Chatham Co.
