The person mentions in the following article appears to be the same person as in your message:

GROOM 99 AND BRIDE 33

Texarkana the Scene of Wedding Out of Ordinary.

Texarkana, Texas, Jan. 1. - R.A. Cain, 99 years old, was married near this place today to Miss Ella Keller, aged 33.

Immediately after the ceremony the couple had their photo taken and left for their home in Limestone County, Texas.

Cain was born in Madison County, Tennessee, in February, 1804, and came to Texas in 1835. He was in San Antonio during the Alamo massacre and is the last surviving veteran of the Mexican war who fought Santa Anna.

He is still young in looks and carriage.

I have no further information.
