FRANK FUGELER -- An effort was made by the counsel of this man on Saturday to obtain an order of release on bail from imprisonment, pending his indictment and trial on a charge of murder. Judge SHAFER refused to grant the application and FUGELER had to remain in jail. He is the man who, some 2 or 3 weeks ago, in a quarrel with his brother-in-law CAIN, stabbed and killed the latter, under such circumstances as indicated a murderous intent.
