Old Cain School

My husband, Floyd Leon Cain (Known as Nick0 was born and reaised near Plymouth Illinois on the old Cain farm, which I believe was originally owned by his Great grandfather, Adolphus Cain.

They attended the Cain school which sat on a small tract of land donated by one of the Cains for the school.

Later after the school was closed, his grandmother, Mary Vance-Cain lived in it for a while.

The farm was later sold to Loren Hurst. Eventually all of the buildings, including the school were demolished.

Does anyone have any information about this school or pictures of it?

My husband's sister. Marilyn Ruth Cain-Wingo, thinks that the land was donated by Everett Bartlett Cain, but she is not sure.
