I am looking for information on ancestors of Stephen Cabot (aka Cabut)born in France in 1832, died 1917, probably in Ohio. I don't know where he was born in France, his parents' names, or when and where he immigrated to the United States. He married Zeline Sophie Schaffter 4/9/1861 in Wayne, Ohio. She was born 5/3/1835 in Roche, Berne, Switzerland, died 2/12/1888 in Paint Township, Wayne, Ohio. Her parents were Abram Schaffter and Marianne Sauvain. I don't know when they immigrated to the United States.
Children of Stephen and Zeline Cabot: Frank L. Cabot, Matilda Cabot, and Paul Cabot.
Children of Frank Cabot and Eliza Julia Tiesche: Bess M. Cabot, Julia Cabot, Howard Cabot, Gladys Cabot, Eva Cabot, and Ora Cabot.
Julia Cabot married Delbert Gallion in 1906. Their children were: Edith Helen Gallion, Mary Gallion, Evelyn Gallion, Irene Gallion, and Upton Gallion.
Edith Helen Gallion married Fred A. Kruse. They were my husband's parents.
