Harriet Cable 1860 Massac Co. Ill. living with Golightly family

Hello, Can anyone out there explain to me why the 1860 Massac Co. Ill. census shows Harriet Cable, age 9, female, born in Ohio living with J.W. Golightly and his wife Cynthia, listed as Cntha and all of their children? A Samuel Cable with wife Catherine is living next door. I know that the 1850 census of Scioto Ohio, at least according to others, shows a Samuel and Catherine Cable living there.

What is the Cable/ Golightly situation? Were they related in some way since Cynthia Golightly was also born in Ohio.
Her maiden name was Smith and her mother was Nancy who later married a Fleece and a Taylor in Illinois.
Thanks much.
