I have been unable to locate William Thomas Brumley after the 1870 census. He was born abt. 1824 in Georgia to Stephen Brumley and Martha Andrews. In 1850, he's in Marion County,AL and in 1860 and 1870 he's living in Franklin County.

He seems to have about 3 sets of children from several marriages. From a marriage to Nancy Clement(s): Arminda (Lambert), Marilda(Barksdale - my gg grandmother), Martha (Williams), Mary, Frances Marion and John (John is possibly the same person as Frances.) Children by second wife Martha (also said to be a Clement):
George, Louisa J., Sarah C., John T. and Henry D.

Possibly there was a third marriage or more children by Martha. In 1910, oldest daughter Arminda Lambert has a much younger half-sister Belle, and a half brother Walter Brumley living with her in Tishomingo County, MS. Two other possible children I've seen on message boards are William Andrew and Robert Ira Brumley.

It is possible that William Thomas moved into MS or maybe TN. Several of his brothers are buried in Hardin County, TN. His name varies on the census: WT, Thos., William T. and once last name is given as Bromley. Any information would be appreciated. I'd also like to know if he was in the Civil war. (Two brothers fought for the Union, and one for the Confederacy.)
