I made a mistake on my other query. My relative, George M Bruce, is proported to be SON (not brother) of James Bruce Sr. I did find a will for a James Bruce Sr., dated Feb 10, 1819. It names only wife Mary Bruce and executors William Bruce and Stephen Adams; not stating relationships. Signing the will were John Popham and Gabriel Sisk. Recorded in South Carolina, Pendleton District, Will Book A page 233. I was hoping he listed his children. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I will continue to look as well.
