I have a Sarah Brooks who married J Miles Spurlock in 1861. Her 1870 Census she is Mary, 1880 she is Elizabeth. My Great Aunt has her as MJE. We do know they are all the same person. My gaunt also has a journal of hers that states her parents are George Brooks & Edith Turpin & a brother George. She also gives brother George's birthdate. I have looked everywhere & can not find her existing before 1861. In 1870 until death her & Miles lived in Four Mile, Wayne, Illinois I can not find Miles in 1960 either. Does anyone have a aunt they don't know what happened to.
