Affidavit of Gardener Moye re: Stephen Brooks beingone of the heirs of William Curbon, Soldier. 1820 Pitt County. Dep. of Gardener Moye re: William Curbon soldierwho died in service in Virginia. 1820 Power of Attorney Ephraim Brooks ( heir of William Curbon) toRoderick Cherry. 1820 Pitt County. Affidavit of Gardener Moye re: Ephraim Brooks asheir of Wm. Curbon soldier. 1820 366 A. issued to heirs of William Curbon. 366 A. issued to heirs of Jacob Curbon. This definitely indicates relationship between James & William Corbin (Curbon) and the Brooks of Pitt Co, NC. Esther Corben shows up later in 1790 Pitt Co, NC census (0-1-2-0-0). Both Corbins died in the Revolution. Esther had one son in 1790, but don't know who he was, yet. Anyone come across these guys before? Baylus Notify Administrator about this message?
