Edmund Brooke of Georgetown/DC

I have been researching this Edmund Brooke lately, and I'm providing this info for anyone who may benefit, and further queries:

Edmund was born in Essex Co., Va, in 1763, son of Robert Brooke III (son of Robert, Jr., the knight) and Mary Fauntleroy.

Edmund died on 2 Jun 1835 at his residence in Georgetown, DC, and was buried at "Snow Hill" in Prince William Co., VA. "Snow Hill" was a property of his. He is often referred to as "of Stepney". "Stepney" was an adjoining property to "Snow Hill", and Edmund appears to have owned both properties at various times of his life.

Edmund married Harriet Whiting in 1790. She died at "Stepney" on 25 Sept 1825, only a few days before their daughter.

Edmund's will refers to children:

Robert, who also was an owner of "Stepney"
Edmund Brooke Jr
Dr. Mathew Whiting "Mathias" Brooke m. Elizabeth Lewis
Mary Fauntleroy Brooke m. Hay Taliaferro
Elizabeth Frances "Eliza" Brooke m. John Carter
Susannah Brooke m. Dr. Edward Brewer in DC
Toy Edmonia Brooke d unmarried 28 Sep 1825 at "Stepney"
Wellington Brooke
James Henry Brooke

Edmund "distributed" a large portion of his property (probably "Snow Hill" and "Stepney", or portions thereof) to sons Robert and Edmund, Jr.

Edmund's Georgetown property was willed to Wellington and James Henry.

I have no later info on Robert, Wellington or James Henry.

In looking for further info on Edmund Jr., I ran across the following (ages assumed for Edmund Jr born c 1795):

******************

From Dailey National Intelligencer, Marriage and Death Notices, 1851-1854

Death, On the 21st inst., after a brief illness of six days, from typhoid pneumonia, EDMUND BROOKE, Esq., in his 56th year, late a clerk in the Pension Office. His funeral will take place this morning at 10 ˝ o’clock, from his late residence on the Island, opposite the Smithsonian Institute. His friends and relatives are respectively invited to attend. (23 DEC 1851){at 56, and born c. 1795, this would have placed him at age of Edmund's children}

Two marriage license records for the name Edmund Brooke in DC.:

Edmund Brooke & Eugenea Queen 9 April 1844 (would have been 49 if born c. 1795)

Edmund H. Brooke & Emily Getty 6 July 1840 (would have been 45, if born c. 1795)

Marriages, Prince Georges County, Maryland, 1777 to 1886:

Edmund Brooke, Jr. & Ellen M. Young 1 Feb 1817 (would have been 22, if born c. 1795)

****************

Any info that would confirm any of these Edmunds, or any other Edmunds, as the son of the subject Edmund would be appreciated.

Also, the subject Edmund was the brother of Humphrey Booth Brooke, of Essex Co., who was murdered in Orange Co. in 1809. This Edmund sued for property owed Humphrey, in the name of his orphans. This Humphrey had children including the names Robert, Mary and Elizabeth. This is entirely idle speculation, but I would like to find out if one or more of Edmund's children of the same names as Humphrey Booth's children could have possibly been Humphrey's, as Edmund became the patriarch of this family after Humphrey's death, and that of eldest brother Robert IV "Robin".
