This was published in the Maryland Historical Magazine and corrections to it were published in a later volumn. Sorry I do not remember the year off hand but you can check the index for the article. I believe the author was Johnson.

There are several articles about the Brooke Family in the Maryland Historical Magazine on the descendants of Robert Brooke's son Thomas. I am a descendant of the 7th eldest son to be named Thomas in this line. One article (1920 I think) by Ellon Brooke Culver Bowen followed this family line. She was a descendant of Clement Brooke (brother of Thomas. This Thomas Brooke in her article was listed as having died in the Carolinas and left issue. I have a copy of a letter from Clement to Thomas telling of their father's death and another copy of a letter from Clement to the second husband of Thomas's wife Ann inquiring about the welfare of their son Thomas Brooke (he is the 8th eldest son to carry the name Thomas)
