Carole:

Was there any record on that passenger list for "John H" Maybe an odd name like "Hy?" He is listed on the Bumby's 1851 and 1861 Census in Yorkshire, and I'd like to find where he disappeared to.

Or anyone with the first name of Emily? Emily is a daughter from the first marriage of James Brook. She'd be about 18 on the trip, but maybe she has a married name?

Or maybe a John Meadley or Annie Meadly? They are nephew and niece of the Bumbys, listed in Yorkshire with them in the 1871 Census.

Thanks so much!
(And thanks for the posting you put on the Carney forum--it opened a couple doors on another branch of our tree!)

Holly
