I can share some information on the maternal grandparents of your gg-grandmother Prudence Breeden. Prudy’s grandmother was Esther/Easter Carter Terry, b 1805 in NC. Prudy’s grandfather was Joseph Terry, b 1775 in VA. Esther was Joseph Terry’s second (or maybe third) wife. Joseph and Esther had two children: Sarah Terry and William Terry. Sarah went on to marry William Henderson Breeden, as you know. I show (but am not certain) that the parents of William Breeden are Evan Breeden and Abigail Hinds.
1850 Census, White Co TN

Also in household, Mary Carter, age 30 years, born NC (Esther’s sister)
1860, Montgomery Co TN, Easter Terry, age 55, is head of household, living with her is her daughter Sally and son-in-law William Breeden, and a 1-year old granddaughter, Mary.
1870, Montgomery Co TN, Easter Terry is living in the household of William Breeden, his wife Sally, and their 4 children (Mary is absent-must have died): William, Alice, Sarah, and Lucy. Easter's age is given as 65, and blind.
1880 Montgomery Co TN, Easter Terry, Widow, is living in the household of Wm Breeden. Wife Sally is deceased. William is a widow. Easter's age is given wrong as 55, should be 75. Also in the household are William Jr, and son-in-law John Bell, married to Alice. Sarah, and the addition of 2 more children: Prudence "Prudy" and Orville.
I am researching the Terry line of Joseph Terry, b 1775 in VA. Joseph, and his parents John Terry and Elizabeth Bounds Terry lived in White Co TN at the time the county was established (1806).
