Thanks for your reply.
In researching another William Brashears I ran across your William Henry Brashears in the 1880 census. I have him married to M. A. Morgan 15 Aug 1886 in Giles Co, TN - Giles Co, TN, Marriage Book I.
I also found him as a widow living with his son James T. Brashears in the 1900 census, District 34, Main Shore Township, Greene Co, Arkansas, p.46A. I assume James T. is his son, though the 1880 census has a John G. and not James T. as the son of the same age. But they also are living next to Edward E. Brashears who is a son of William H. Brashear.
My best guess as to your William Henry Brashears parents is Peter Brashears, b. abt 1810, TN and Rebecca 'Bicky' Brashers, b. abt 1810, TN. Peter is listed in Charles Brashear's book v.6 p.39 as a possible son of Basil Brashears, Sr.
The 1850 census, District 4, Tishomingo Co, Mississippi, p.39 has Peter Boshers family with son Henry, 10. The 1860 census, District 7, McNairy Co, TN.
Charles Brashear also says there's a Henry Boshear, 26 and wife, Marantha, 24 in the 1870 census of McNairy Co, TN, but I haven't been able to locate them.
Hope this helps. Let me know.
Wayne Brashear
