There is a discrepancy [in the info.]on Nicholas Brashear,that I have read on the net.So,can anyone help me sort out the truth about the birthplace of Nicholas Brashear?I am related through his son,Samuel Brashear.According to the official records that I have,Samuel was married to Maria Mather.Samuel's mother was Martha Simmons and his father was Nicholas Brashear.Now everyone it seems,has Nicholas as being born in Ky.But on the death record for Samuel Brashear,his father Nicholas is listed as being born in England.This is why I need help with the truth.Do I believe the official record or people who says he was born in Ky.?
What I have read on the net may not be accurate.I have found far too many mistakes on the net in reguards to other family info. of mine.I would appreciate it,if someone could help me with this.I have noticed that people copy other people's info.and without checking for proof,they just pass their info.on to others.Not everyone does this I know.And this is why I am asking for help from anyone who may have the correct info.The official record on Samuel Brashear death,does list his father as having been born in England.I also know that birth places listed on the census have been inaccurate at times.
