I've run into a brick wall with this couple. Does anybody here have any information on the parents of Adele Bouchard and her husband Joseph Gagnon, Jr.? Joseph Gagnon, Jr. was born 1839-1840 in Canada. Adele Bouchard was born 1829-1830 in Canada. They were married in Old Town, Maine on June 9, 1860. Their daughter, Marie Gagnon (wife of Louis-Norbert Beaulieu) was my g-g-grandmother.
I know very little about this couple. The Jr. designation on Joseph suggests that perhaps his father's name was Joseph, as well. Also, the fact that Adele was about 30 years old at the time of their marriage could mean that she was married once before. Perhaps somebody reading this will have a record of an Adele Bouchard married to a man other than Joseph Gagnon, who died prior to 1860.
I'm grasping at straws here because I'm really stuck.
