I am trying to find any information I can on Domitilde (Mathilda) Bouchard married to
Jean-Baptiste (John) Guindon (Yadieux). They were married February 10, 1843 in St. Eustache, Quebec. They had at least two children; 1) Philomene Guindon (Yadieux) born July 16, 1843 (perhaps in Quebec), married to Francois St. Amand Feb 1 1864. 2)Mathilda Yadieux Guindon born July 15, 1845 (perhaps in Quebec), married to John Donnelly September 29, 1872 in Orillia, Ontario. Jean-Baptiste Guindon and his wife Domitilde lived in or near Brechin, Ontario, but came from the St. Eustache area of Quebec. I would like to know if anyone knows of any of their other children, especially the possibility that they had another daughter, Olive Guindon, probably born about 1840's, who might have married a Thomas Merrys, perhaps in or near Brechin, Ontario. Their daughter, Mathilda Merrys was born there, and married Alexandre St. Amand on July 25, 1880 in Penetanguishene, Ont. Jean-Batiste Guindon's father was, Gabriel Guindon (born abt 1776) , and his mother was Mari-Anne Rouisse Martel. Domitilde Bouchard's father was Joachim Bouchard (born abt 1775) and her mother was Marie-Josephte Legault (born about 1786). Any information on Jean-Baptiste and Domitilde's children would be greatly appreciated.
