Greetings: I am newly searching my matriarchal line. My mother's (Martha's) father was OLIVER Bouchard, who died of tuberculosis in Old Forge, at the age of forty. His brother FREDERICK became a tugboat and barge magnate in Huntington, Long Island, where the Bouchard Line still operates today. EMBERT (name and spelling correct?) married a cousin of OLIVER's wife, Catharine Donnelly Bouchard, and the last I discovered lived in Panama, where all three brothers and the two Irish girls worked on the Panama Canal. Sister RHEA lived in Latham, where as a lad I visited her, and may have married into the Roberts family. I seek only information on any of these, and am interested in talking to any and all of the descendants of these people, who I believe originated in and around Troy, New York. I am attempting to write down family history for the benefits of those not yet born. Help? Ron Ruland Notify Administrator about this message?
