The Jan/Feb 2009 issue of Ameerican Spirit Magazine, put out by D.A.R., there is an article about this woman.
Mrs. Jacques mentions a great-aunt Olive Rebecca Bolling (1847-1953); her great-great grandmother, Betsy Hemmings, who was born a slave in 1783. She states she stays clear of the discussion about whether or not Thomas Jefferson was her father; her great-grandfather, Samuel P. Bolling, who was a descendant of Pocahontas.
I thought some descendants might be interested in reading this article.
