My great-grandfather was Joseph Blewett 1852-1924. He and wife Jane (Harvey 1856-1936) emigrated to PA 11/18/1886 from Cornwall. Not sure where--sailed from Land's End--he was a miner & worked in PA coal mines, later settled in Reading PA & worked in hosiery mills.
6 children, all deceased--
Elizabeth b. 1876
Edward b. 1879
Joseph b. 1885
Clara b. 1886
John b. 1888, died as infant
John Harvey (my grandfather) 1890-1956
I know people from my family have been in contact with the Cornwall relatives as recently as the 1960's. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
