The link with Hugh de Bayeux was exposed as familial rather than a sibling one by Raymond Foreville as far back as 1957. In "Studia Anselmiana" he records that Robert Bloet is a "nephew" of Roger d'Ivry, the son of Hugh (Annoyingly the source of this relationship is not given). This would make Robert a grandson of Hugh, by a daughter unknown (As he had potentially four brothers).
