Where did WILLIAM BIGGS (born? died 1806 Monongalia Co VA) come from? I have a letter from my great grandfather, Jacob Moon Biggs, stating that William Biggs came to America with the British Army and after the war (which war?) said, "By God this country is good enough for me" and "staid". I have the Biggs family solid back to 1773 through a land grant in Monongalia Co Va given to William Biggs. William was a constable in Monongalia Co VA until his death. Please share any ideas you might have for finding my family.
Maryland in Georgia
