Who does he belong to? John Beshears, born 1834 Kentucky, located in the 1860 Jefferson Township,Daviess County MO census. He was living in the household of Isaac Minick (family 47/48, page 8). I think he may be a brother of James Anderson Beshear and Elizabeth C. Beshear Mills--but I'm trying to eliminate any other family association. James A Beshears married Mary Frances Green in Daviess County MO in 1856. In searching for her info, I discovered that the Minicks and Greens are intermarried. In 1860, John Beshears married Mary Kelley, daughter of Jefferson Kelley. They are listed a few families away in the same census. In 1870, Elizabeth Beshears is listed in Jefferson Kelley's household, age 8. She is again listed in the same household in Kansas in 1880, age 18. Evidently John and Mary Beshears died between 1862 and 1870 in Daviess County, MO. Does anyone know anything about this John Beshears?
