I am looking for a John Beshers or Boshers or Besheers- born in Tennessee. He would possibly be 75 in 1900. He was married at a young age. He married a Rebecca H. Billingsley in Lawrence Co., Tenn. the 4th of Dec., 1852( I have a record). They had two children, Elbert, born in Ark and Mary Rebecca or Mary A. Beshers born in Texas. Mary is my great grandmother).

In the 1860 U.S. Census, Nancy H. Beshers(married) is with her family-mom is Rebecca Billingsley, and there is not a John Beshers to be found. I am guessing he might of died in the Civil War? But,when I saw your John Beshers-who was your John Beshers married to? You stated, he was a father-in-law and born in Tenn. and 75 years old. That's interesting, can you help me?
