I am not related to the Beshears family, but one of my great great aunts (Julia Roselyn Stokes) married Nathaniel Thomas Beshears, who I believe is the grandson of the Thomas Beshears that you mention in your post.

If I am correct, Nathaniel Thomas Stokes was the son of Thomas D Beshears and Sarah/Sally Howell.
