Mary Elizabeth Boshers/Brashears/Beshires, (unidentified), b. c1815, NC; m. 30 Jan
1833, in Maury Co, TN, Edmund M. Shelton, Bondsman: John Boshers. Edmund, the
husband, drowned in 1850, before the census, in Giles Co, TN. Elizabeth Shelton is in
the 1850 Census, Giles Co, TN with five children. (From: "Judy Sulephen"

Her mother, Mary Boshears, b. c1793, age 67, is in Elizabeth Shelton’s household
in 1860, Lawrence Co, TN, and “Pollie” Brashier, 77, is in her household in 1870,
Lawrence Co, TN. Mary Boshears/Brashears, the mother, died in 1879, and Elizabeth
Shelton moved to Izard Co, AR, to live with her daughter, Frances Louise Shelton
Sullivan and her husband Samuel Sullivan.
