Does anyone have anything on this man or any of his descendants? I’ve heard that Beasley John Brashears appears in some other census, but I can’t now find the note. Help, anyone! JOHN HENRY BRASHEARS 8-6. John Henry Brashears, (s/o John Brashears Sr and Mary Berry, though he's young enough to be a grandson), b. 1816; m. Rebecca _____, b. c1821 (29 in 1850). He received land grants near John in 1846, Lawrence Co. He and wife are in the 1850 Lawrence Co, TN Census with six children (they may have had more later). Though unexplained, there is an exactly duplicate listing in the 1850 Census of Lewis Co, TN, fam #16-779. 9-1. Mary D. Brashears, b. 1838 9-2.
