The only Balding name that I have is Matilda Balding, married to Nathane Wilson, lived in Polk Co. TN area. They had three known children: General Marion, James, and David Wilson. General was born in 1860. I found Matilda's name on an Cherokee application form dated 1926. She was not listed as an Indian, but no other information on her. The Cherokee was on the Nichilson/Tyler side.
