A huge thanks to Chris Kowal who has answered the Blanchards of Swanton Vermont question : they were a "dit" family with Renaud. These forums worked for this Australian who knew little of the complexities of the French-Canadian names, to do with my grandfather. Thanks too to Wanda Alter's email back in 2001, to Cyprien Cyprien on the Gauthier forum and to Mark Bachand and Jim Bashaw who tied up the other ends of the family. All good for the big human family. And to top it off, I have native American bllood from Salome/Catherine Glutoney/Goodney and Catherine Dandurand.
What an amazing two weeks for this Aussie.
