I am trying to find C.F.B. born in St. Hyacinthe , Canada in August of 1856. He was married or lived with Anna Boudo and they had six children. Five boys and one girl. In 1900 they were living in Adams , Massachusetts on Brown street. Anna walked to the police station and filed for an arrest of C.F.B. who at that time was called Charles Frank Bacon ( my Great Grandfather ) or not so great because from that time on he was never heard from again. I started my research in 1977 when all his children were still alive. I have it all the way back to Nicholas and all I want to do now is to tie up this loose end. Where did C.F.B. go ? When did he die ? Interestingly all his children grew up to be solid citizens and great parents. When he left charles was 14 or 15 and Leda was 6 months old. I was never able to confirm Anna and Charles marriage. I believe they met in Hadley Massachusetts and then moved to Savoy and finally Adams. I found it interesting that I am really a Bachand and not a Bacon. A women from Canada was helping me with my research to no avail until she suggested that in French Bachand sounded allot like Bacon and that If I wanted she would look there and she found him. We did all the correspondence through snail mail.
