An Oliver Bachand was listed as a cooper with 10 acres at Swanton Jct, VT in 1883 Franklin Co. Business Directory
That same year Lewis Bachand was listed as a foreman at W.B. Fonda's Limeworks in Swanton Jct., VT

Joannis Baptiste Hogue of Canada, s/o Baptista and Julia Laglais married Amelia Bachand, d/o Oliver and Catharine Andurannatan of Swanton, VT on June 13, 1859
Witnesses: Julian Raymond, Maria Fairever
