Hi,
I have found another link to the Bachands in Quebec. My gggrandfather Louis Bachand was born in Pike River Quebec in either 1835 or 1838. He was married to a woman named Sarah Goodney (many different spellings). This probably happened in Pike River, Quebec. Most likely in a Catholic Church. Louis's father's name was Oliver. Oliver was married to Catherine Dandurand from Isle Dumas, Quebec. If anyone can offer any other information on these people, I would be in your debt.
