Hi Bill
In her book, Simone Vincens states that in 1761, Charles Babin, younger brother of Pierre, Simon and Zacharie, m. Françoise Vincent, eldest d. of Pierre Vincent. That information she found while revising the official records of the French Neutrals deported in Pennsylvania.

I'm not questionning your affirmation about Charles being m. to Marie-Rachel Robichaud, sometine in the years 1760, but knowing that Francoise died before sept 1766 (ref. page 188 of said book) do you think a second marriage is possible, most likely taking place after Charles departure from Phila....? Incidentally, there are no records of Robichauds living in Pennsylvania at that period.
I'd much app. your comments. I'll check Deschambault records. By the way there are many references to Babins in her book. Expectedly, Jean
