Hi Janine, I tried to email you directly, but the email bounced, so am giving this a try, you can email me directly at: dotsybabin@cs.com Percy Albert Babin who married Helen Stiles was my father-in-law. I have found a baptismal record on his father, but nothing on Percy's grandfather Albert who was married to Mary Cecilia Duplessis, other than the fact that he was most likely deceased between 1887 and 1890 in Ascension Parish, and that Cecilia and her son were in Baton Rouge by the 1910 census, not as early as I had previously been led to believe. So, how are you related, who is your mother?? I have gotten quite a bit of information from one of my husband's cousins. I'd be more than happy to compare any notes and share what little I've found, who knows, perhaps we could solve the mystery of Albert, where he came from and when he died, where he's buried, why he and Cecilia weren't married in the Catholic Church, and why, even though the first Percy Albert was baptised in the Catholic Church, he evidentially wasn't raised in it, so many questions, so few answers, it's always the way with family history, the more you find, the more questions you have. Thanks for your reply, and look forward to hearing from you. Linda Slán agus beannacht leat
