Looking for any information on Albert BABIN, married to Mary Cecilia DUPLESSIS in Prairieville,Ascension Parish, Louisiana,January 27, 1886, Mary Cecilia was the daughter of Phillip Alfred DUPLESSIS and Mariane Therside Marie BROUSSARD. They had one child, Percy Albert BABIN, born September 08, 1887. Verbal history says that after Albert's death, his wife packed her belongings and young son in a wagon and traveled to Baton Rouge,La. Not a long trip by today's standards, but seems it would have been quite an undertaking for a woman and young boy in that time. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
