The Christian Frederick BAAD who married Elizabeth MAGONOVER / MAGERRANER / MAGENRU on 5 Dec 1847 in Coshocton Co., OH, was the son of Georg Adam BAAD & Rosina Barbara OTT. The Louisa BAAD who married Henry STROUP was the daughter of Johann Gottfried BAAD & Christiana Catharina SCHIESS.
Both Georg Adam BAAD (b. 17 Aug 1791) and Johann Gottfried BAAD (b. 6 Mar 1796) were born in Steinheim an der Murr, OA. Marbach, Neckarkreis, Wuerttemberg, and both emigrated to Cochocton Co., OH, ca. 1846/47. Gottfried's parents were Johann Georg BAAD & Catharina Margaretha KLUMP, and it's a fair guess that Gottfried and Georg Adam were brothers, but I haven't made the connect for Adam.
