William Adam Austin and Louisia Jane Spillman married 1891 and died in Pride area, East Baton Rouge parish. Their children were Mary Elizabeth (Mollie), Joseph Quinn and Reubin Henry Austin.
Louis E Austin and Jessie Spillman were married 1929 and lived in Baton Rouge where Jessie helped raise his children of a previous marriage.
Anna Mae Austin, sister of Louis married Thomas Earl Spillman 1913, brother of Jessie, lived at Spillman with their six children.
Charles Bushull Austin married first Margaret Ferguson 1848 and second, Henrietta Hudson 1856. There were five children of the two marriages. (Henrietta's sister, Martha Ann Hudson married Thomas W Early whose daughter Margaret Ann Early married Green Davis Spillman)
There are others directly or indirectly related to Austin/Spillmans, originating from 5th Ward, West Feliciana parish.
