Hi Mary,
I am looking for a Moses Astin born in 1780. While checking for this I found a Horace Austin 30 years old listed in the 1851 census returns for the Parish of Blissfield NB Canada. Also listed is Isabella C Austin his wife age 27
Christy Ann daughter age 8
Sarah daughter age 6
Hiram G son age 1
Horace is listed as a farmer
I hope that this helps you. I know what it is like to hunt and hunt for information.
