William from what i have been able to find in the last week is my Astins are from Scott County Virginia. William's daughter Elizabeth was born in Scott County in the 1820's(not sure on date) and she mare Joseph Eugene Davidson in Scott County. I still do not know Where Elizabeth's fater William Astin comes from nor have i have found any new information so i am not sure if mine are orginally from Ill.
