Nathaniel Henry Astin, b. 1 May 1854 in Georgia was married 3 Feb 1876 to Mary Frances Harriss or Harris, b. 1 Feb 1854. Nathaniel died 15 Dec 1926 in Pleasant Hill, Milam, Texas and is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetary. Mary Frances died 9 Jul 1945 in San Antonio, Bexar, Texas and is also buried at Pleasant Hill.
Nathaniel Henry and Mary Frances Harris Astin had 10 children:

Katie (b. 1877 Georgia)
John D. (b.Sep 1880 Georgia)
Sadie (b. 20 Feb 1883 Social Circle,,Georgia)
Charles (b. Feb 1885 Texas)

Jason Nathaniel "Natie" (b. Sept 1895 Tangelewood, Lee, Texas)
Mary Jessie (not sure of birthdate)
Robert Estelle is our great grandmother. She married Dr. Claudius Shaffer.
Nathaniel and Mary Frances were quite creative in naming little girls with boy names.
