There were Astin's located close to Greene county in Morgan County.My family is from this Astin family.There is a big family I would be glad to give you all the information I can get on the Astin's of Morgan County Georgia if you can help me with your family.I have the Astin coat of arms also.the earliest Astin I have was a William Littleton Astin who was Father of William Jabrey Astin of morgan county who was a Civil War Veteran.
The William Littleton was a Veteran of the war of 1812.all I know about him was his father was named Robert Astin and his mother was Nancy Vaughn.Robert Astin was born in 1765 and he was a Revolutionary Veteran.If this can help you let me know and I will arange some more of my information and send to you .I have been doing Reaseacrch on the Astin family for about 5 years.
