Morgan Co., Ga. My grandmother, Berta Astin, was his daughter.
Robbie, I have a picture of Samuel David Astin, and yes, people who knew him say he was a very large man. I am also the cousin of Thomas Valentine, the gentleman who gave you the information; I imagine Tommy has pictures also, as his mother was an Astin before her marriage.
