I am searching for information on Lars Arneson, born Oct. 14, 1814 in Col. Hallingdal, Buskerud Co., Norway. He married Ragnild Olesdatter in 1845. They were on the ship "Probus" while traveling to the U.S. in 1845. They are both buried in Canton Cemetary in Canton, South Dakota. I would like any information available on Lars and his 10 children (Ole, Aadne Lor, Arne, Anna, Eline, Bergit, Martin, Andreas, Inger, Caroline). One of his children, Ole was forn in Allamakee County, Iowa and married Florence ? (do not know her last name). They are buried in Mt. Pleasant Cemetary, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We do know that after Ole died, Florence remarred a "Caldwell" and they had a son Harvey and 2 daughters, Mabel Nicholai and Nona Crandall. Florence also had two sisters, Mrs. Jordon of Sioux Falls, So. Dakota and Mrs. Gregg of Mitchell, So. Dakota. I am interested in any information on Florence and her background.
