sickles, samuel, n.j. line, BLW 452-100, soldier's brother garret sickles made aff'dt 1 feb 1809 in n.y. city and state that his brother samuel died about 1788 or 89 leaving a mother (not named) who died in 1797. soldier's heirs in 1809 wer garret and daniel sickels and the children of his deceased brother ethan sickels towit; abigail, w/o ethan bancker, and margaret, w/o john elsworth also nancy w/o william hopwood and the siad nancy was the d/o soldier's sister abigail whose married name was not given.

gaddis, thomas, pa. and va. lines, soldier was born 28 feb 1742 in frederick co., va., and soldier lived in monongalia co., va. at enlistment ( the part that later became pa.) applied 1832 in clinton co., ohio a resident of union twp., ohio. he died there 10 juune 1834. soldier married hannah _ and she died 4 feb 1835 in clinton. children, james, john, hannah who married a hopwood, rice, william, leah, married william rannells,ruth mc coy and priscilla glover, grandchildren were james hopwod,
john rannells, thomas gaddis rannells, hannah (no last name given) prisiclla and anna daus. of james gaddis, thomas mc coy.
