Still looking for Maria Leah the wife of Moses Barber both b. around 1800. I know I've seen a genealogy that claims her name to be Maria Leah Alverez Menendez, but I can't find it anywhere, now. It gives a birthdate of 1809 Saint Augustine, Saint Johns, Florida.
I remember talking to Travis Alvarez of Texas about her some years ago but the messages seem to have disappeared from this forum.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I wonder now if she's from the Jose Alvarez family mentioned by Chris Alvarez, arriving from Asturias in early 1800's. Any Menendez connections here?
